Amenities include a club house, pool, snack bar, basketball courts, tennis courts, pavilion, beach and volleyball area, campground, three lakes, one pond, and various picnic areas and two playgrounds.
Currently there are 1029 dues generating lots and over 869 homes in the subdivision, which consists of sixteen different sections, with three separate entrances to 1-1A, 2-11 and 12-16.
The 2018 membership dues are $560.00. The principal expenses of the association are the upkeep of the buildings, common areas, salaries of employees, a professional security force, contracted pool service, liability insurance and legal fees. The annual road maintenance fees are an additional $250.00 in Sections 1-1A, $60.00 in Sections 2-11, and $100 in Sections 12-16. Section 1-1A and Section 12-16 are a separate roads association. Section 2-11 is a committee under the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors is the governing body of Lake Wilderness. The Board is comprised of nine (9) elected volunteer members serving one, two or three year terms. Elections are held each year at an annual meeting of the general member-ship in November. Monthly board meetings are held on last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., open session begins at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse.
